“Livable Streets for Vibrant Communities”

A studio-based course where students will work in multi-disciplinary teams to produce professional-quality planning and urban design work. Students will be practicing planning and design skills you have developed so far in your respective programs and learning how to deliver a complex, multi-part, professional project in a collaborative team environment. Students from each discipline are expected to learn how to work collaboratively with allied disciplines. Course comprised of M. Planning + M. Landscape Architecture + B. Architecture.

Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning. Neighborhood Redevelopment Program, Chile

Supervisor. Managed 7 urban design projects in various districts of Santiago, including Villa Portales for a total of 5,883 units.

Coordinated Ministry projects with the community.

Designed Master Plan for a 1900 units neighborhood Villa Portales, Central Station. Emblematic project for the Government of Chile.

These projects are part of the first program for recovering neighborhoods in Chile.

UN-Habitat

Dubai International Award for Best Practices 2014.

The Neighborhood Redevelopment Program was awarded “Best Practice” by the UN-Habitat, United Nations Settlements Programme for its outstanding contribution towards improving the living environment.
